As you no doubt know, the new Rise of the Planet of the Apes movie is being released soon, and I have to say, it looks pretty exciting.
But we also have to ask: Is such a thing possible? Could apes and chimps somehow acquire enough intelligence to challenge man's domination of the planet?
Maybe not... but there have been strange real-life cases of human-like apes and ape-like humans. Were these bizarre and amazing missing links some kind of human-ape hybrids? Surviving members of ?hominids thought extinct? Or were they genetic throwbacks to our early evolution?
