Ghosts of the USS Hornet 1
from Robert FrenchI took these photos with my digital camera while staying overnight at the U.S.S. Hornet museum in Alameda, California. The white "squiggle" near the top of the stairway is in a spot where a sailor who committed suicide while on duty is reported to have been seen. The red lights are battle lighting, which was the only illumination at the time of the photo. During our scouting expedition I also witnessed several unexplained sounds as well as taking another photo of a bed in the infirmary, which appeared to show the distinct impression of a person lying on the bottom bed.
