Why the Shroud of Turin is Fake

Shroud of TurinMany people fervently believe that the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth, its image miraculously created by the energy of his resurrection. Others suspect that it is merely a clever medieval forgery. And both sides have their own "compelling evidence."

I have my own theory for why the much-revered and highly controversial shroud is not the burial cloth of Jesus - or anyone else for that matter. A casual observation and a simple experiment can show that the shroud is almost certainly a painting. Read more.
