What you'll see: This video was taken on July 6, 2011 about 30 miles east of St. Paul, Minnesota by a couple -- a farmer and his wife -- who was taking a routine walk in the woods. They heard a low grunting sound, which they at first thought was a deer. The farmer had recently bought an iPhone and so was making video recordings of just about everything. He turned it on for this occasion and these are the images he captured: It appears to be a crouching creature with auburn-colored hair that quickly moves away. I looks like a primate.
Review:
Pros: This is definitely a video worthy of examination since the creature videographed does not readily appear to be person in a costume. In other words, it is not an obvious hoax, although it certainly could be. The creature's movement, gait and posture seem to be primate-like.
Cons: As with most videos of these creatures, unfortunately, it is neither close enough, clear enough, nor of sufficient resolution to make a strong judgment one way or the other. Although we know these creatures are elusive, it always seems "convenient" that foliage keeps us from getting a good view of it.
Conclusion: Inconclusive.
